I’m Rachael also known as Panda Yoga Edinburgh 🐼

I’ve been practicing yoga for almost 20 years having first started when at school. I discovered yin yoga in 2014 and fell in love with this slower style of class.

Panda Yoga started in St Margaret’s House in June 2016 following my yoga teacher training. Since then I’ve expanded my knowledge and classes with restorative yoga, BASI pilates and an ongoing 800 hour course in yoga therapy. In May 2019 I moved studio to a space within Lifescycle in Edinburgh.

Classes are kept small to allow for individual attention and options in poses. As such all of my group classes are suitable for beginners but I also offer private sessions if you have a particular focus.

Propless Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is awesome but you normally need so much stuff. Join this workshop to explore a yin yoga practice without extensive props. Using a towel or blanket to assist we’ll be slowly and gently stretching out and relaxing into poses.

Open to all levels
Bring two towels or blankets along. Yoga mats will be provided.

This is the workshop that would have been taught at Scapa Fest 2019 but it was too cold to lie still for long period that morning so we did a more dynamic class instead.

Panda Yoga is moving

Panda Yoga is moving to a space within Lifescycle on Newhaven Road from the 20th May.

Come along to a full week of £5 classes in the new studio and try something new.

Monday 20th – Yin Yoga 7.45pm
Tuesday 21st – Combination pilates and yin 7.45pm
Wednesday 22nd – Pilates 4.15pm, Yin Yoga 5pm, Yin Yoga 7.45pm
Thursday 23rd – Restorative Yoga 7.30pm

Escape the Fringe Yin Yoga Classes

Fed up with the fringe already? Loving it but need some time out? Both at the same time?

Join Panda Yoga Edinburgh for an hour of complete relaxation and I promise no one will try to give you a flyer at class.

Classes are on Thursday 9th and 23rd August 7.30-8.30pm and Sunday 19th August 7-8pm. Classes are £8 drop in and all props and mats are provided. Book via BookWhen

Regular classes will continue as normal

Monday 7-8pm – Yin Yoga

Wednesday 5-6pm – Yin Yoga – no class on 22nd August

Friday 17th August – 6.30-7.30pm – Restorative Yoga

There are also a couple of one off classes to help you escape the fringe and relax or catch up with a missed class

Sunday 19th – 7-8pm

You can now buy a class pass for £30 for 4 classes to use within 60 days of your first class. Perfect if you can’t make it along for a few weeks or aren’t sure of your availability at the start of the month.
